Our Team

David Reimann is a registered European lawyer (Bar Association Nuremberg) and a cooperating attorney at Schima Mayer Starlinger Attorneys at Law.

His main areas of practice are data protection law, data-based business models, compliance, as well as administrative and constitutional law. His clients include international startups, software companies, medium-sized businesses, and private individuals, for whom he develops pragmatic and tailored legal solutions. Due to his dual admission in Austria and Germany, he represents his clients on matters of German, Austrian, and European law in both countries. When necessary, he draws on his extensive network of proven legal experts in both countries.

David Reimann initially studied Public Management & Governance with a minor in Corporate Management & Economics at Zeppelin University Friedrichshafen and Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University in Beppu, Japan (2007 – 2011). He subsequently completed his law studies at Humboldt University in Berlin with distinction in 2016. After his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Nuremberg from 2016 to 2019, he passed the Second State Law Examination, also with distinction.

He began his professional career as a lawyer in 2020 as an associate at the renowned law firm Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek in Munich. Prior to that, his professional experience included working as an intern for the German Society for International Cooperation in Kathmandu, Nepal, as a research associate at the think tank “Das Progressive Zentrum” in Berlin, and as a legal trainee at KPMG Law in Nuremberg and the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute for Human Rights in Vienna.
