Vienna, 12 September 2024 – The Viennese law firm sms.law is successfully supporting Baustoff + Metall Gesellschaft m.b.H. (B+M), a leading supplier of dry construction and insulation materials, in connection with its investment in 6B47 Real Estate Investors AG (B647), starting with supporting the strategic corporate financing of 6B47 through to the takeover of the Althan Quartier, previously developed by 6B47, by a joint consortium consisting of B+M, RPR Privatstiftung and Stefan Schönauer.

6B47 Real Estate Investors AG is a pioneer in the development and renovation of sustainable residential and commercial properties as well as urban development projects.

The reliable and focussed cooperation between B+M and sms.law, under the leadership of partner and sms.law Head of Corporate Stephan Schmalzl, was decisive for the successful support of this complex process. sms.law founding partner Christian Mayer is also part of the advisory team and, in line with his expertise, is providing antitrust law advice as part of the project. The ongoing advice included several rounds of shareholder financing and refinancing, as well as the preparation and participation in the consortium and the planned takeover.
